Cristo Rey RT Academics

The School That works – Durham, nc

College Ready. Career Prepared. 100% College Acceptance.

Cristo Rey RT High School is a joyful, loving community that offers a transformative education to traditionally underserved students. Through the integration of our Corporate Work Study program and rigorous academic instruction, we ensure our graduates are college- and career-ready.

3 Pillars of Academic Support

Personalized Teaching

The average class size at Cristo Rey RT is 15:1. Faculty and tutors work one-on-one and in small groups with students to support their core classwork and target specific topics that students struggle with or have had limited previous exposure to.

Tutoring

Tutors are assigned to specific students and work with them each semester. Each tutor collaborates with our core faculty, administrators, and other volunteers to give the most effective support.

Guidance Counseling

Cristo Rey Research Triangle understands that our students sometimes face enormous challenges unrelated to academics that nevertheless impede their classroom learning and growth. Our school counselors are here to respond to the personal and family needs of each of our students, help them overcome any obstacles, offer support and advice to students, and meet with students, parents, faculty, and staff to resolve problems.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle Values

  • Respect & Care As a community, we strive to see God in all people and treat everyone we encounter with dignity, respect, and kindness.
