Communications & Development Coordinator

Execute an integrated communications and marketing strategy that supports enrollment, fundraising, and corporate work study through print, digital, email, website, and media channels.

Create compelling content and branded marketing materials while managing communications calendars, vendors, databases, internal communications, and special messaging needs.

Lead the school’s social media strategy by creating engaging content, managing publishing schedules, capturing photography and video, overseeing paid campaigns, and monitoring analytics.

Maintain and enhance the school’s website by ensuring accurate content, consistent branding, strong user experience, and data-driven improvements.

Support fundraising initiatives by coordinating events, donor stewardship activities, annual giving campaigns, recurring giving, planned giving communications, and event marketing.

Create donor-facing communications and materials, assist with impact reporting, maintain recognition displays, and support donor database and stewardship projects.

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies to maximize participation in the Education Freedom Tax Credit program among donors, businesses, advisors, and community partners.

Collaborate with school leadership and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, stewardship, performance tracking, and continuous growth of the program.

Serve as steward of the Cristo Rey brand by ensuring consistency across all communications, publications, digital platforms, signage, and promotional materials.

Foster a welcoming and mission-driven experience for donors, volunteers, corporate partners, prospective families, and other school visitors through thoughtful communications and recognition.

Bachelor’s degree or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) with exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Experience managing multiple priorities, proficiency with photography and basic videography, and the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Experience in nonprofit communications, fundraising, donor stewardship, annual giving, and donor database management.

Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, email marketing platforms, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite.

Strategic communication, creative storytelling, graphic design, digital marketing, project management, and collaboration.

Commitment to the Cristo Rey mission, strong customer service, professional judgment, initiative, adaptability, and relationship building.

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Summary
Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is seeking a part-time Student Enrollment & Recruitment Assistant to support the Director of Student Enrollment & Recruitment during a leave of absence. This position is ideal for a bilingual (English/Spanish) individual who enjoys working with families, has strong organizational skills, and is passionate about helping students access a college-preparatory education.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to prospective students and families in both English and Spanish.
- Welcome and assist Spanish-speaking families who visit the school for admissions or registration.
- Help families complete enrollment paperwork and collect required documents.
- Assist families with completing and maintaining the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship requirements and application process.
- Support the Director at community events, school recruitment events, and occasional weekend church visits.
- Help prepare student enrollment files and ensure documents are complete.
- Assist with admissions events, including Open Houses, registration days, and New Student Orientation.
- Build positive relationships with prospective students and their families.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Availability to work 15–20 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in education, customer service, admissions, or community outreach is a plus.
- Familiarity with the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship program is helpful but not required.

High School Bus Driver (Small Bus)
Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Bus Driver for our 14 passenger buses.

- Have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Complete and maintain updated criminal and children’s protective clearance before hire.
- Be able to provide DMV records.
- Be authorized to work legally in the U.S.
- Be at least 25 years old.
- Be available for morning and afternoon shifts, Monday – Friday.
- Experience working with High School students and a diverse student population
- Experience with a GPS.
- A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required.
- Transports students in compliance with all safety regulations and rules of the road as established by the state of North Carolina.
- Shifts can be PERFECT for part-time or retired persons.
- Picks students up from designated bus stops and brings them to school. (6:15-7:45 a.m.)
- Takes students to and from work (8:15-10:00 a.m.) (2:00– 4:00 p.m.)
- Drops students off at designated bus stops (4:00-5:00 p.m.)
- Adhere to strict time schedules and routes for boarding, dropping off, and picking up students from neighborhoods and Corporate Partners.
- Submits to and passes appropriate background checks and drug/alcohol testing as deemed appropriate.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is part of the country’s largest network of high schools that exclusively support underserved youth. Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is scheduled to welcome freshmen to its campus in the summer of 2021. Classes for sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be added one year at a time towards a total capacity of 400 students by fall 2024.
