John Ratliff
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Curia

John Ratliff serves on the Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School Board of Directors and brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Curia, where he oversees all areas of the organization and guides its strategic direction.

Before joining Curia in 2019, John served as CEO of Covance, LabCorp’s drug development business. He previously led HUYA Bioscience International as President and CEO. Earlier in his career, John spent nearly a decade at Quintiles, the world’s largest provider of product development and integrated healthcare services, serving first as Chief Financial Officer and later as President and Chief Operating Officer. His background also includes senior leadership roles at Acterna and 19 years with IBM in positions of increasing responsibility.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering, with highest honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Duke University. He has served as Chairman of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations and sits on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board. In 2017, he was inducted into Georgia Tech’s Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni.
