Vice President, Global Strategic Sourcing and Category Management
Michael Stringer is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in strategic leadership and organizational transformation. At MetLife, as Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing & Category Management, he led global teams across 40 countries, fostering strategic partnerships and advancing diversity initiatives. His expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and mentorship positions him to support nonprofit governance and resource development.
Deeply committed to education, Michael has mentored young entrepreneurs through Emerging Young Entrepreneurs and supported community initiatives with the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. His extensive network in financial services and consulting (MetLife, IBM, Accenture) equips him to secure corporate work-study partnerships for Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School. A Raleigh resident with an MBA from Campbell University and a BS from North Carolina State University, Michael is passionate about empowering underserved youth through Cristo Rey’s work-study model.
