Tuition and Financial Aid
The School That Works – Durham, nc
Every Cristo Rey Research Triangle family is expected to financially contribute to their student’s education.
Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School (CRRTHS) has a comprehensive approach to managing tuition costs to ensure affordability for all families. Here’s an overview of the financial process:
Corporate Work Study Program
Each student participates in the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), with 66% of students in paid positions earning $10,000 annually. This income is divided evenly among the student body, resulting in $6,600 per student towards their total tuition of $19,900.
Outside Aid
Any outside aid (scholarships, grants, etc.) that a student receives is applied to their account before CRRTHS financial aid is calculated.
Remaining Balance
After applying outside aid and the CWSP earnings, the remaining balance is determined.
CRRTHS provides financial aid to cover part of this remaining balance, and the rest is covered by a family contribution.
Monthly Invoicing
Families will receive invoices for their portion of the tuition.
The first invoice will be due in September, with subsequent invoices following.
Average Family Out of Pocket Cost for the Year: $700
This structured financial aid process ensures that CRRTHS remains committed to providing an affordable Catholic education, making it accessible to all students regardless of their financial situation.
